SUNDAY WORSHIP UPDATE
I was out Sunday with some teeth issues, but I was able to watch the sermons, I was in communication with team members during service, & I got some great communication from 8 people–Here’s the feedback I got (I’ll go over the fixes in ‘Solutions & Opportunities):
- 1st SERVICE PROPS:
- Worship was great!
- Sound for worship was great!
- Sound for Transition was great!
- Sound for Sermon was great!
- Slides were good for Worship
- Slides for Sermon were great!
- 1st SERVICE ISSUES:
- Slides were a little fast a couple times. Not bad, but there were a couple songs where the slide was changed at the beginning of the last sentence.
- Sound: During Prayer at the end of first service, sound started screeching. – Thank you Jenn for covering me for 1st serice, and for quickly calling me & for being proactive in finding the solution. Thank you for your feedback!
- 2nd SERVICE PROPS:
- Worship was great! – Thank you BRAD for planning ahead and covering my Sunday.

- 2nd SERVICE ISSUES:
- SOUND: During worship practice the same screeching sound happened. It took a bit longer to turn it off. — Thank you Paul, Jenn and Matthew for being proactive in finding the solution.
- SOUND: The worship team could not hear their mics at the first of worship practice. Brad, Richelle, Morgan and Josh all mentioned they could not hear their through the in-ears. Matthew was able to fix the problem during worship practice. — Thank you Matthew for sticking with it and going through the process to find a solution.

This Week: Solutions & Opportunities:
- ISSUE 1: SOUND SCREECHING During 1st Service prayer time & Before 2nd Service Worship
- SOLUTION: Normal, when we change the service setting from 1st Service to 2nd Service we would push ‘A’ and ‘B’ buttons (pic 1). Until our speakers are fixed Switch from “Test Service 1” and “Test Service 2” by pushing the screen selection in the top left corner of the screen (as shown in image).
- ISSUE 2: Brad, Richelle, Morgan, Josh unable to hear in their in-ears.
- SOLUTION: Make sure that their individual channels are ON. For the drums, make sure all the GREEN channels are ON. Remember: Mics and Instruments are not ON by default because we end each service turning everything off but piano. It can be easy to forget these at the beginning of the service.
- DRUMS are GREEN
- MICS are YELLOW
- COMPUTER is RED (it has two ways to control. I connected both in BLUE.
- REMEMBER: If the ‘ON’ buttons are not HIGHLIGHTED YELLOW they are not ON.
- IF you hear NO Sound at all…check MAIN slider (Slider at the furthers right.). More than a few times the problem was that this was not ON.
- SOLUTION: Make sure that their individual channels are ON. For the drums, make sure all the GREEN channels are ON. Remember: Mics and Instruments are not ON by default because we end each service turning everything off but piano. It can be easy to forget these at the beginning of the service.
- ISSUE 3: SLIDES Moving too fast.
- OPPORTUNITY: As you are worshiping along, try and keep your finger on the NEXT arrow, and watch the screen everyone else is watching, or watch the AUDIENCE screen on the computer. Make it your goal to change the slide at the LAST TWO WORDS. Trust that the worship leaders want you to go to the next slide, unless they specifically let you know they are going back to another verse. Going forward is always the default.
REMINDERS: STAGE, BATTERIES, PIANO
Mic & Music Stands
SINGERS & MUSICIANS: At the end of your worship set make sure to put MIC STANDS 1 & 2 within the taped-off square against the black sheet on the wall. All Music Stands and Guitars should be either taken off stage or placed in the same area marked off.
In-Ear & Cordless Mic BATTERIES
SOUND MINISTRY: At the end of 2nd service make sure you take all the batteries out of the in-ear packs, 2 labels and cordless mic and put them back on the charger. WORSHIP PRACTICE – LEADERS: If there’s no sound person for your practice night, make sure to put all in-ear batteries back on the charger so they are all full charged for Sunday Morning Service.
Piano Cover
All Piano Players: Make sure that after SECOND SERVICE and after all WORSHIP PRACTICES that you put the cover back on the piano.

If you do not have editing permissions on here yet, you will. I just made this calendar – which can be added to your computer or phone calendar – so you can add all availability changes as far in the future as you want. For the time being, I will continue to print the ‘Availability’ and ‘Opt-out’ Schedules and placing them in the sound booth, but this is part of the Master Worship Ministry Calendar that will have all Worship Teams & Media Ministry schedules so you all have live access to everything you need to know and fill out in your hands. As soon as you add an availability or need to opt-out, I will get the notification so I can adjust accordingly.
