Ever wonder why we, as humans, ask questions? Why did Jesus as questions? I can't help but wonder because I know He is all-knowing. In Genesis, after Adam and Eve sinned, they hid themselves from God. He asked them, "Where are you?" In Luke, a woman who had bleeding for 12 years, touched the hem of Jesus' garment and He asked, "Who touched me?" In Mark, Jesus is in the boat with the disciples during t5he storm. After He calmed the storm He asked them, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?" What is He revealing about Himself in the asking? Was He inviting Adam to confess? Was He inviting the woman or the disciples into a conversation? I think both. The questions are for us; inviting us into conversation and repentance with Him. Key word: 'Inviting.' Meaning, we have to act. So don't hesitate! Converse & confess to Jesus daily. (He already knows it all, anyway; nothing could scare Him or cause Him to not love you.) Your relationship with God will be the most important relationship you will ever have. Be encouraged, He sits on the throne! Alicia Villa, FCC Women's Ministry Leader
