Pray for the Young Adults while they are at the Passion Conference
- Keep the Young Adults that are at Passion in our prayers: Tomorrow morning, Wednesday, JANUARY 1st (can you believe it is already 2025? Wow), around 4am…way too early for the living 🙂 the young adults are flying to Georgia to Passion Conference 2025. The Young Adult Group hosts – Izzy Bailey & Richelle Connelly, along with Josiah Moler, Coleman Newby, Andi Bailey and Joki Palacios will be fully emerged (and marinating in) the Presence of the Lord joining thousands of other young adults from all over the US in several days of worship. I love these worship experiences and having gone to several through the years I have seen how these times of refreshing – and the whole experience in general – can change lives. Please join me over this next week in prayer for each of these young adults! I’m so excited to hear stories from each of them when they get back. From January 1st – the 8th, every morning at 7am I will be stopping whatever I am doing and spending a few minutes in prayer and intercession for each of them individually, if you feel led, feel free to join me in lifting up each of their names before the Lord! I was supposed to be with them, but the plans had to change. It’s okay, I have experienced it…and as Josiah Moler said in the group chat when I gave the news that I could not go…he said “WHAT WILL THIS MAKE POSSIBLE!” hahaha I said, “Amen! Preach That!”
Intro to our 2025 FCC Worship Outlook
The Worship Forum: I’ve had a few people ask about when the worship forum is taking place. I had planned on doing it maybe in one of the last two week of January; however, since my son is getting married February 8th, and I am officiating his wedding…my focus in January will be preparing for that. IN NEXT WEEK’S UPDATE I will include a couple dates for everyone to choose from. We want everyone at the forum, so I am not doing a lot of small catch-up meetings & because we will be doing some worship planning for worship events of 2025. We will also be brain storming for other worship opportunities, trainings, and events for both in-house worship and out-reach worship.
2025 is going to be really fun for FCC Worship, and there will be a lot of opportunities for personal and group growth. Iron Sharpens Iron will be our theme in 2025. Our focus in that will be– ‘Cultivating and Celebrating our Common-Union as Worshiper & Pursuing the Presence of the Lord in our personal lives and faithfulness in leadership.’
Media Ministry Schedule & Opt-Out Form
Media Ministry Schedule: February & March
Friday evening I will send out the PROPOSED Schedule for the Media Ministry – I am currently working on February & March. Remember that the ‘Proposed schedule’ is NOT the ‘confirmed schedule’. Don’t screen shot the proposed schedule to follow because it will mostly likely NOT be correct. If you have nothing to change, wait until I send the Confirmed Schedule.
The Opt-Out Form: April & May
This is a reminder that the opt-out form that is going up Saturday is for the April & May schedule. I use the opt-out forms when making the proposed schedule, so when you get the proposed schedule Friday, I will have used the February and March Opt-Out form that has been at the sound booth. The Opt-Out forms are so I can get ahead of the current schedules.
Use The Calendar: Easiest Way to Opt-Out For All Future Dates
Now that we have a Worship Calendar, I have given all of you access to create events. So, when you know you are not going to be available (for the ENTIRE Worship team) go ahead and make an ‘Opt-Out’ event. That way, I will get the notification and plan accordingly. If you know you will be on vacation, out of town, anniversary, or any reason that you need to opt-out…get ahead of it, put on the calendar and forget it.
