What Is This 6 Month Journey All About?

Jesus is God
As followers of Jesus there are a lot of things that we are allowed to disagree on and still be family in Christ. However, to be Christ followers there are a few things that we MUST believe. That’s why we are called ‘believers.’
- We believe that Jesus is God. Not a god but THE God.
- We believe that Jesus is the Word, that He created all things and everything is held together by Him and everything exists for Him.
- We believe that Jesus is the Eternal Word, that came to earth, put on the flesh of humanity, that He died and rose again.
- We believe that Jesus is Salvation. He is the ONLY Way to the Father .
- Jesus is NOT and was not an angel. He is not Michael. But Jesus did create all angels.
- Jesus is NOT merely a prophet. He is the WORD; that makes Him the message that all prophets carried.
Over the next 6 months, we are going to see Jesus all through the Bible. He was in the beginning, He was present throughout the Old Testament, and the Scriptures of the Old Testament (the Tanakh) all testified of Him. As we read through the entire Bible over the next 6 months, we are going to see Jesus in a powerful way, possibly in a way you had not realized before. I pray as you take this journey, whether with me, your own Bible study group, or by yourself, that you find yourself drawn closer to Jesus than ever before, and you discover tools to help you defend Jesus and know without a doubt why you believe what you believe.
